 Flash
Lisa Alisa: Why do you paint? Yuki Itoda: It makes me happy. If i don't paint every day, my heart dies every day. My heart is like a cup: i see people, things around me every day - this cup becomes full. Then it's overflowing and i have to empty it - i paint. Then i walk around some more to fill it up again and then i can paint again.
Why do you paint abstracts? Abstracts are timeless and time itself. I am a part of this time, this place. At the same time i don't exist, i am just a reflection of this time and this place. Past, present and future blended in one.
 The Lucky Person
Why do you draw child-like smiley faces? Child's faces are pure and have no gender. There are no female or male yet, just a pure human creature, all light. People grow up and partly loose that light, but the memory remains, so we never stop searching for that light. Kids don't know any restrains yet. They are only given love and respect for the simple fact of their being.
Why do you paint female faces? Women give birth to children, it is very important to me - women give birth to the future innocent pure hearts.
dr_5When did you start to paint? I don't know. As far as i could remember myself i was painting.
What is your favourite color? I like all the shiny colors. And yellow!
M.S.L.XLWhy do you use graffiti, why do you like it? Graffiti art has the same kind of spirit as children's art. It is a free expression of one's feelings, no restrains, no concerns, no worries. It is true.
Do you like New York? I love NY. It is straight. Even when it wants to fuck you up - it is pretty honest about it, you know what to expect. Also because NYC is just a number of small ethnic local towns, every ethnicity produces its original trash. I love trash, it has all colors of the rainbow, and more. Art is a colorful trash, it is pure.
 Sympathy
Why did you choose NYC? I didn't choose to like NY, it has chosen me, it has found me.
